In 1967, Victorien Prud’homme already owner of a Cessna 206 type aircraft, acquires a small aviation company, Cargair, that was founded in 1961.
Originally, Cargair transported hunters and fishermen from Saint-Michel-des-Saints, in Lanaudiere Quebec, to wild territories where their passengers could practice their favourite sport.
In 1988, Cargair acquires its first flight school. Subsequent acquisitions will raise the company to a leading position in the training of pilots in Quebec. Cargair/Max Aviation then expands their operations to include a corporate charter service by adding to their fleet more performing aircraft in the years 1990 and 2000. Cargair/Max Aviation also offers a maintenance service, aircraft and airport management.
Cargair and Max Aviation employ more than 70 persons during the high season.
Today, Max Aviation, with at its head Josee Prud’homme, posses a unique reputation in the aircraft charter business in Quebec.
A success that is owed to all the personnel’s devotion, engaged towards excellence.
