MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY

Max Aviation’s safety standards are amongst the highest in the industry and are even stricter than the norms established by Transport Canada governing all Canadian airlines, small or major.

Safety on board

  • Before each flight, a complete inspection of the aircraft, whatever the time, is made by our vice-president maintenance or his representative.
  • Before each flight, visual inspection of the aircraft is made by the captain
  • Safety briefing to the passengers before take-off
  • Complete de-icing of the aircraft when the temperature requires it. This costly operation is made at no extra cost to Max Aviation’s customers.

During the flight

  • You can rely on 2 qualified pilots, the captain and his/her fist officer for each flight.
  • Our aircraft are covered by a liability insurance covering up to $5 million for the Pier Navajo and $10 million for the Beechcraft. An insurance certificate can be given to you upon request at no cost.
  • Daily flight following by a member of the management team, day and night, thanks to a flight following software. We always know where you are.

Maintenance of our aircraft

  • The entire maintenance is done by our staff rather than by subcontractors: this helps us maintain a high level of quality in the parts we use as well as in the maintenance job.
  • Max Aviation’s maintenance department is under the supervision of Mr Pierre Prud’homme Roy, part of the family company since 1980 and one of its shareholders. You are in safe hands!

Mr Prud’homme is head of a highly qualified team of mechanics who take pride in going over every single detail.
